Set against an alluring landscape of mountains and vineyards in Northeast Victoria’s King Valley, Lancemore Milawa is a 40-room lodge that has been revamped by award-winning Melbourne studio The Stella Collective.

Deeply influenced by the palettes, shapes and textures of Moorish tradition, the hotel offers a sumptuous modern Mediterranean escape. The region’s hot dry summers and cold rainy winters were considered in the redesign, so that spaces can be cosy and cocooned or breezy and open depending on the season.

Linger over breakfast, lunch or dinner at Restaurant Merlot onsite, then retire to the low-slung sofas of The Vineyard Room or wander out to the pool, gardens and vineyard beyond.
