When it comes to decorating apparel, numerous options are available. Specific styles work well on specific garments. How do you know which process is the right one for you - it’s important to know some specifics about artwork, fabric and color. Here are some examples of print types to help you decide on process and what you should be aware of to get the best decoration possible.
ATHLETIC TRADITIONAL BEST FOR: Bright and vibrant colors for a thicker, bolder look. Use for any type of garment. Great with any design!
SCREEN PRINTING
LIMITATIONS: Not recommended for soft-feel garments (ringspun cotton, some softer cotton-poly blends or triblend).
VINTAGE TRADITIONAL BEST FOR: A “worn out vintage” look with soft muted, light-weight colors. Use on soft-feel garments such as cotton-poly blends, or triblend. Great with any design! LIMITATIONS: Colors appear darker/more muted than standard inks. Not best for bright/vibrant colors or specific Pantone™ color matching.
