Annual CPD requirements for judges for 2022 will run from the end of March 2022 to the end of March 2023. Judges must attend a formal training session from the three options below only. Judges are required to attend training either at their current level or one level above. • Black Horse One online seminar • Module 4 live training • Principles of Judging seminar

General training and clinics that are organised across the regions can be used towards one training observation sign off for judges registered for the new system. Attendance to the module 4 live training can also be used for one training observation sign off. Small sitting-in training sessions that are organised across the regions can be used towards one sitting-in sign off for judges registered for the new system. Judges can attend these also for their own development but are not permitted to use this towards annual CPD training requirements. General Zoom judge training sessions can be attended for development but are not permitted to be used towards annual CPD training requirements.

Anyone not able to complete this is advised to refer to the reinstatement of judges policy on the website and if you’re unable to fulfi l this requirement must write to offi cials@britishdressage.co.uk. Judges are reminded that they should be up-to-date with CPD before they judge.

Online seminars with the eDressage platform Black Horse are available for all judges, including trainees. Please ensure that you register for the relevant seminar either at your current level or the level you are looking to upgrade to.
