PARA MATTERS

Letter From Tracy

Hello everyone, I am in slight denial that it is now June as I write, and it will be the beginning of July when you receive the magazine – this year is going so fast! The Para Home Nations goes from strength to strength as a competition with great camaraderie and atmosphere, lovely to see some new faces and support from Scotland for the first time, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, please encourage others to take part next year.

I hope to see many of you at the championships at Hartpury; I will be at the drinks party and also watching during the day, come and say hello. Don’t forget there is also a freestyle championship for the first time.

Applications are coming in for the Para Academy. There is still time to submit your application, if you have any queries we are happy to help and guide you.

We will be holding an open rider talk in one of the classrooms at Hartpury on the evening of Wednesday 23 August at the Para Bronze and Silver Championships. We will be covering the next steps to compete within the para international structure and how to get internationally classified. We will also have a rider talk, followed by a mini champagne reception in the café.

If you are attending the Bronze and Silver Championships, please do come along. We will confirm the start time once the times have been released for the competition.
