Stay Active is a quarterly publication for active adults designed to bring you news about activities, events and trips. Our goal is to provide you with lots of social and active options to fill your days with memorable experiences.

Wheeling Township offers bus service for Wheeling Township residents Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Call 847-259-7743 between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:30 pm to schedule transportation. Reservations should be made two days before the travel date.

HIGH TEA WITH GERRI

Registration Deadline: 2/16 Nestled in the historic village of Long Grove, Gerri's Tea Room represents her roots and heritage as a native of Ireland and London-trained culinary aficionado. The high tea is inspired by British classics – an artful array of finger sandwiches, raisin scones, and petite pastries – a menu that represents authenticity. Dressy attire is encouraged and hats are provided by Gerri's. Lunch will last 60-90 minutes and after there will be time to explore the shops of Downtown Long Grove.

Learn the game of Pickleball with other beginners. Players will learn the basics of pickleball including stroke mechanics, how to serve, hit a 3rd drop shot, drive and more in drill and game-based scenarios. By the end of the session, players will have the confidence to participate in drop-in pickleball programs. Pickleball paddles will be provided. Must commit to the entire session.
