Charlie’s I established Charlie’s Coffee & Company over a decade ago; inspired by years of working in cafes & immersing myself in café-culture around the UK, I wanted to bring great coffee to the people of Hertfordshire. I serve speciality coffee & morning cheer to the early risers at St Albans station from the back of a 3-wheeled van. My coffee is roasted by Has Bean, I use milk sourced from a family run dairy farm & pastries are freshly baked in St Albans. The Fleetville Larder After frustration that there wasn’t a independent cheesemonger based in St. Albans, owner Ed Bevin decided to take matters into his own hands. Living in Fleetville he realised there was also a need for a local spot to get great coffee, in a relaxed environment, with quality food offered. So he put the 2 concepts together, quit his city job and the Larder was born. Cheese takes centre stage in the Fleetville Larder, with an ever-changing counter full of artisan British and European cheeses. These are hand cut to take away, or are offered to eat-in, as part of our popular cheese and meat platters. You are encouraged to try before you buy.
